Biography of Forgiven

Koa Wood         Sound Technician

Saved at age 15 after a Christmas program at Emerald Avenue United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee Koa became part of the youth group and remained there until 2004.  During middle and high school she played clarinet in the school band.  On May 15, 2004 she married Philip and shortly after they began attending Sunset Heights Missionary Baptist Church.  Since the group needed a sound technician, when Koa’s husband joined the group, she was quickly put to work.  You can say she made her first appearance with Forgiven on June 4, 2006.  She will also be seen setting up equipment, running the cords and doing breakfast runs on those early Sunday mornings.
