About Forgiven
Forgiven is a southern gospel group based in
Knoxville, Tennessee that has been traveling and singing for the Lord since
1996. The group began when Kevin
Beeler felt God calling him to lead a music ministry that he had been involved
in since he was about 13 years old. The group’s first singing was at New Friendship Baptist
Church in Maynardville, TN with original members Kevin, his wife Dianna and a
friend of Kevin’s from high school, Brad Carlisle.
Kevin and Dianna would continue to sing for about 6
months when Kevin’s mom, Madge would join them. It was not until approximately a year
or so later that they would decide to name the group. The name Forgiven was chosen and they
have traveled as far as Corbin, Kentucky under that name since then. You can find the group singing in
parking lots, churches, county fairs and any place that God opens a door.
Traveling by faith that God will provide, the group
now consists of original members Kevin and Dianna Beeler along with Darrel and
Carolyn Wolfe as well as Philip and Koa Wood.
When not performing they attend Loveland Baptist Church on Spring Hill
Road in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Each year you will find Forgiven hosting the Gospel
Music Tent at the TVA & I Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee that is held for 13
days beginning on the Friday after Labor Day.
On March 24, 2002, the group recorded “Forgiven
Live at Sunset Heights.” Currently they are working on a new recording.
